He holds a Diploma in Law (Diplome d’Etudes Universitaires Generales – DEUG) and an LL. B (Hons.) in English Private Law, from the University of Yaounde II, Soa, Cameroon. He has a qualifying Certificate B.L. Certificate - Nigerian Law School, Abuja prior to his call to Bar. He is an ACCA Part I Professional Level Certificate; current level – Part II (Papers passed: Preparing Financial Statements, Financial Information for Management, Managing People, Corporate and Business Law and Business Taxation). He is equally a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). While practicing at John Etape and Associates Law Office, P. O. Box 97 Goldie Street, Calabar, Nigeria, he further undertook a Professional Foundation Course (Part I) on Dispute Resolution, – Arbitration, Conciliation, Mediation, Negotiation and Litigation management in Calabar, Nigeria. In the law firm he is in charge of conducting client interview and having conferences with clients, drafting Legal documents (contracts, pleadings, motions, affidavits, deeds, letters of court adjournment, etc.), Preparing monthly Tax declaration, Representing/Assisting clients in the Court room/Chambers, at the Legal Department and other judicial and administrative services, etc
